 Pathaan is a 2023 Indian Hindi- language action suspense film( 4) written and directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Aditya Chopra. ( 5) The film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham alongside Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana. ( 5) It's the fourth investiture in the YRF Spy. Pathaan was released in India on 25 January 2023, coinciding with the Indian Republic Day weekend in IMAX, 4DX, and standard formats along with dubbed performances in Tamil and Telugu. ( 6)( 7) Pathaan entered positive reviews from critics. In 2019, the Indian Government revokes Composition 370, which grants special status to Jammu and Kashmir. The news impacts a cancer-ridden Pakistani army general, Qadir, who decides to exact revenge against India. He signs a contract with Jim, who leads" Outfit X", a private terrorist group. Meanwhile, Pathaan, a former RAW agent, and his elderly officer Nandini open a unit dubbed" Joint Operation and Covert Research"( JOCR) which recruits agents, who were retired from trauma and injury in history, but still have a passion to serve the country. With RAW joint clerk, Colonel Sunil Luthra's acceptance, Pathaan and his platoon head to Dubai to stop Outfit X's plans of attacking the President of India at a scientific conference, but realize that their plan abducts two scientists. Sahani and Dr. Farooqui. Jim attacks the scientist Pathaan and tries to stop him. A fight ensues, and Jim manages to escape with Dr. Sahani. Farooqui is saved. At the headquarters, Luthra reveals that Jim was a former RAW agent, who was declared dead times agone but faked his death to regard against his country for letting his woman and future child killed at the hands of Somalian terrorists. Pathaan learns about the metaphor” Raktbeej” and that the dead persons in Dubai were ex-secret agents’ dogfaces and their plutocrat was transferred to Rubina Mohsin, a Pakistani croaker. When Jim leaves his den, Rubina attacks Jim's men and escapes with Pathaan. latterly, Rubina reveals that Raktbeej is in Moscow, where Jim is after stealing it. The brace trip to Moscow and steals the Raktbeej before Jim. Pathaan and Rubina manage to gain access to the palace where the Raktbeej is held and manages to steal it, but Rubina betrays Pathaan and has him captured by the police. It's revealed that Jim used Rubina to make Pathaan steal Raktbeej for himself by using his weakness for feelings. Pathaan is taken to captivity by train but is left to die at the hands of captures. He battles with the captures when Avinash" Tiger" Singh Rathore arrives to save him, as informed by Nandini through Morse law. Pathaan and Tiger baffle the bobbies and convoy in a gunfight and escape. 3 times latterly, Pathaan travels to Africa, captures Jim's henchman Raafe, and escapes. He latterly meets Nandini at his den in Russia and reveals about Jim copping two smallsword dumdums, where Nandini reveals Rubina's position in Paris. Pathaan meets Rubina, who reveals that the Raktbeej is smallpox- designed shifted contagion that will kill a person within many hours and Jim is planning to spread the contagion with the reticent help of Dr. Sahani. She also tells that she felt shamefaced about betraying Pathaan without knowing that her country would plan similar heinous attacks. Rubina reveals the position of Jim's lab, where Pathaan and his platoon attack the lab and recover one sphere containing the contagion, while the other sphere is with Jim, who escapes with it. Pathaan and his platoon head to the Indian Institute of Contagious conditions( IICD) to prepare a vaccine for the contagion, where Jim calls them and reveals that the sphere has formerly spread the contagion in the lab. The infected scientists and Nandini expire in the lab, which makes Pathaan rule to trap Jim. The lab is destroyed in a blast to help the spread of the contagion. Jim provides a claim to void Indian dogfaces out of Kashmir within 24 hours. Pathaan interrogates Raafe about the position of the bullet, and he learns that the bullet is positioned in Afghanistan. By soliciting Jim's dogfaces into a trap, Pathaan, Rubina, and his platoon attack Jim's base where Qadir is killed by Rubina before cranking the contagion. Meanwhile, Rubina finds that the Raktbeej isn't in the bullet, but is in a passenger-bounded airplane wharf towards Delhi, where she informs Pathaan, who finds that Jim has the detonator. Luthra calls the air business control to help the airplane from the wharf in Delhi. In the cabin, Pathaan and Jim fight. Despite getting picked by Jim, Pathaan steals the detonator, deactivates Raktbeej, saves the passengers, and kills Jim by throwing him off the precipice. After this, Pathaan is reinstated and made the head of JOCR, while Nandini is posthumously awarded for her frippery. In the post-credits scene, Pathaan and Tiger are seen allowing about retiring and suggesting youthful agents who can replace them, without revealing their names.
